This guideline focuses on feasible vehicle-to-vehicle communication specifications to the phase in which experimentation and verification for driver assistance are conducted in real environments by installing on-board equipment in vehicles. Towards the global standardization of vehicle communications systems, this guideline is expected to be a baseline which specified the on-board equipments.
