The ITS Info-communications Forum continues to contribute to the realization of world's most safe, environment - friendly and economical road traffic society by utilizing Information and Communication Technologies.

The effects that are expected from the provision of information using such messages include preventing oversight of general traffic participants and complementing the cognitive functions (autonomous sensors) of automated vehicles in various scenarios, such as intersection entry, turning left or right, and single-lane driving. These guidelines can also be used for purposes other than safe driving support and autonomous driving support (such as smoothing traffic flows, collecting probe information, and providing monitoring support).
