General Description

This guideline mainly describes about the contents and format of location information expression for realizing the location-based services which will be forecasted to be used from now under mobile communications environment.

The guideline has an objective of standardizing location information standards to the extent possible, and was created in cooperation with the Mobile Information Standard Technical Committee (MOSTEC) and the Mobile Office Promotion Association (MOPA).
